Class Outline
Variety and Structure
Classes follow a similar structure, but vary in content each week following a theme. Each class gives kids tools to use outside of the class in their everyday lives.
Check In
Each class starts with a check in to teach the kids to look inside and share how they feel at that particular moment.
Breathing Excersizes
Breathing is an essential part of life and mindfulness. The breathing excercises the kids learn are a great addition in their toolbox as they can use these calming excersizes throughout their day in any situation. You can never leave your breath at home!
Visualisation & Meditation
Short visualisations and meditations are used to bring some calm into the kids life and give them a time to just be, without having to do anything.
Mindful Art
Art is a beneficial part of mindfulness classes, where it is all about the process not the outcome. Especially for kids it is a great way to express and process emotions.
Mindful Movement & Fun
Fun activities are just as much part of our classes. The aim is for the kids to focus on one particular sensation, sound or feeling and put all your attention on that activity. With kindness. We aim to use one of the five senses to bring the kids back to the present moment.
