  • This class definitely works. Every time she gets a bit of attitude (she is 12, so that comes with territory) or she is frustrated I say "breathe girl, just breathe". Inevitably she starts laughing. Or I fetch the jar! How can she not smile.

Vivier comes from the Spanish word for “to live”, this is what we do in mindfulness and is at the core of our coaching, live in the moment, be present. Notice with awareness and be kind to yourself and others. Take everything out of life that you can, the good, the bad and the ugly. There is no such thing as good or bad emotions; learn and grow from each situation, by being mindful of what is happening inside of you.

Kids classes

Kids mindfulness classes provide a space for children to explore mindfulness through child-friendly and fun activities. In the class the children learn various breathing excersizes that they can use to calm themselves, emotional check ins (to see how we are doing that day), mindful movement to teach the kids to focus on the sensations in their bodies, as well as other fun activities to teach the kids to bring their attention to the present moment. 

Adult Classes

Vivier Mindfulness Coaching provides classes for adults in which the fundamentals of mindfulness are explained and practised and various forms of mindfulness meditation are explored. The classes teach ways to cope with stress and anxiety, by observing and recognising our thoughts and feelings, without judgement. Classes can be taught in a private setting or in small groups.
